The Brecon Beacons National Park
Pen-Y-Fan is located in here and at an altitude of 886metres, is the highest summit in South Wales. We offer the chance to walk to this summit and others in the range and although the Beacons give a wonderful the impression of remoteness, they are in fact, easily accessible from Cardiff and the other urban conurbations in S Wales. The terrain is varied, from the high summits or ‘Fans’ and long ridges, to lovely river valleys and one of our classic walks in this area is our ‘waterfall’ walk. The fantastic walks we lead are suitable for all abilities and follow the beautiful Hepste and Mellte rivers. There are tremendous views of the various waterfalls, including the most famous; Sgwd Y Eira, in English, the ‘Waterfall of Snow’ which you can actually walk behind its wall of water. Be prepared to get a little damp though !!!

The Gower Peninsular
The Gower Peninsular near Swansea was the first place in Britain to be designated an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’, (AONB). With its varied landscapes, stunning beaches and diverse flora and fauna, it certainly deserves this status. Although compact in area, there lovely walks along secluded paths through woodland, heath and hidden coves. Apart from walking, there are fantastic opportunities for water sport activities along beautiful, unspoiled beaches like Llangenthith and Three Cliffs bay and we run surfing, wind surfing, sea kayaking, coastteering, etc.

The Wye Valley
This wonderful, wooded valley that forms the border between England and Wales is excellent walking territory with the river Wye flowing through its deep wooded, limestone gorges and offers the walker a wealth of interest and variety from spectacular viewpoints overlooking the river to quiet wooded trails. We’ll walk some of the lesser know trails to beauty spots, discovering evidence of the rich cultural and industrial heritage along the way. The Snowdonia National Park
Within the Snowdonia National Park are some of the most spectacular mountain ranges in Britain, including the highest mountain in Wales, (and England !), Mount Snowdon, or in Welsh, Y Wyddfa which means the monument or tomb. However, don’t let that put you off walking with us here; Snowdonia offers some fantastic hill walking and scrambling, and our program offers the chance to climb some of the highest peaks in the area, including Snowdon, (1064m), Tryfan and Cadair Idris. We specialise in weekend or multi day treks in this area with high quality accommodation and food in selected bunkhouses or guesthouses. Apart from walking, there are loads of other outdoor attractions in this area and we will be pleased to arrange visits to the attractive coasts or other activities like mountain biking, white water rafting etc. We can put together a very varied program here for groups of all abilities and fitness levels, whether it’s a serious days scrambling up the rocky slopes of Tryfan, getting to the summit of Snowdon on less frequented routes or gentler, lower level walks ……we have a program to suit.
